Servers

Prior to ordering servers, Par3.IT will work with you to determine your server needs. Servers can cost anywhere between $1,000 – $20,000+, so it is important to understand your requirements and explain your options. The cost of servers are dependent on 4 major factors:

Performance: Servers with faster CPUs, hard drives, network cards and memory will add to the cost

Redundancy: Better servers will have multiple CPUs, redundant power supplies, and RAID disk arrays all to assure maximum availablity of your applications and data by eliminating single points of failure.

Storage: Today, you would be hard pressed to purchase a server with anything less than 150gb of storage, which would have been at the top end just 5 years ago. Today, there really is no limit to storage if you implement SANs or NAS disk arrays.

Virtualization: For multiple server installations, using Virtualization software such as Hyper-V, Xen or VMWare can actually reduce the cost of your investment in servers. See our virtualization page for more information.

PCs

Par3.IT specializes in procuring and deploying desktop PCs using the latest Windows Deployment services, which means all of your PCs are configured identically and tested thoroughly prior to installation.
